One more night (and a half) in Bangkok

The not so exciting parts of travel...waiting to get into our hotel room! Our flight out of Bangkok to Munich was just after midnight-so we had another 30ish hours in Bangkok.

Dang it, we have raincoats, I swear-we just don't remember to bring them! Waiting to dash between raindrops.

OK, seriously, how on earth is this snail so BIG??? And just chilling on the sidewalk in a giant city.

Spectacular night views! We stayed on the river, which was a treat.

River taxi!

Different river taxi!

Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn).

Love the rainbow 🌈 long boats.

This had such a gorgeous sound.

Wat Pho-home of the giant reclining buddha.

More Wat Pho

Thailand has such great street food!

Much to the girls' dismay, a trip to the 24 hour flower market was on my must do list...

It was awesome!!

Magda may have had a different opinion.

Making floral garlands by hand.

Then we went to Chatuchak weekend market-there are upwards of 15000 stalls! Lu got a Popsicle for 5 baht, which is about 15 cents.

Magda and I took a trip to IconSiam, which is a giant mall with super fancy shops that had guards outside the door. Needless to say, we just were window shopping.

Tiffany's! Hermes! Dolce and Gabbana!

Off to our last Thai dinner before our red eye flight to Munich.

Butterfly pea flower lemonade! And then we all jumped in a van for a ride to the airport. Our flight left at 12:50am. Yikes!
