Morning reading with Magda! (Magda reporting in...for now)

(Headed to hike around this volcano! Mt Ruapehu is in Tongariro National Park, which also has the Tongariro crossing, which was one of my favorite hikes last time-bright blue and green crater lakes...not gonna happen this time!!)

(This is Violet) we were sitting down because we were so tired.
We were almost on the top of the hill.
We saw lots of icicles and there was pointy tops.
(The ice was so fun! not sure how it all freezes into these little shards, but super fun)

This one we got to get kebabs. In mine there was lamb, gherkins and cucumbers and stuff (tabouli! yum), but we had sauce but we can't remember what sauces I had.
(This was the kebab place j and I frequented in Whanganui, so good. so, so good.)
We saw grapes!
We saw lamb and just sheep but mostly sheep in there.
We got ice cream! Frankie got ice cream. All of us got ice cream. But Magda ate two because I was tired of mine. And Magda ate almost all.
We were walking to our car because from the ice cream because it was very tiring
(maniacal laugh).
(Perfect halfway place to stop-this was one of the 'real fruit' ice cream places, where they mix up your ice cream, made to order. Van got raspberry (with chocolate), and everyone else got peanut butter (with chocolate). Yummy!)
